FAIRFIELD - A funeral for John Evertt William Rundlett, 61, is planned for 3 p.m. Friday at Rockville Bible Churckh with the Rev. John Carson officiating.  A visitation is planned for 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Rockville Bible Church.

    Mr. Rundlett died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006 at home, after a sudden illness.

    A native of Meriden, Conn., Mr. Rundlett lived in Suisun City 32 years.  He graduated from high school and attended Pratt Schoool of Design for two years.  He owned his own business as a cabinetmaker in Suisun City.

     Mr. Rundlett spent much of his life in public service.  He served on the Suisun City Council from 1984 to 2000, which included tenures on the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District (vice president 1996-1998), Suisun Redevelopment Agency, Suisun Housing Authority, Suisun Financing Authority, and Solano Water Authority.  He also fed the homeless through Rockville Bible Church from 1997 - 2000.

     He is survived by his wife, Linda Rundlett of Suisun City; daughters Chirstina and Rebecca Rundlett of Suisun City; sisters Renee Holubecz of Gendale, Ariz., and Anne McAnerny of Peoria, Ariz.; and grandchild Gabriel Rundlett of Suisun City.

     He will be cremated.
