MERIDEN - John (Jack) McMahon Jr., 61, died on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at the VA Hospital in West Haven. 

Born in Meriden, Aug. 29, 1946, the son of John T. McMahon Sr. and the late Gert Dart McMahon. Mr. McMahon graduated from St. Joseph School, Platt High and Wilcox Technical School and the University of New Haven. He was employed by the City of Meriden and during the Vietnam War, served with the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. Known as (Cadillac Jack) he was a member and past president of the 5th Chapter Motorcycle Club for 20 years. He was a member of the Quarry Ridge Men's Golf League of Portland and loved golf, riding motorcycles and playing his guitar, and loved his two cats, Abby and Ally. 

Besides his father, John, he leaves two daughters and a son-in-law, Curry E. McMahon and her husband, Fred DeCarlo of Utica, N.Y. and Megan F. McMahon of Albany, N.Y.; a grandson, Dylan J.T.; and a sister and a brother-in-law, Debbie and Gary Cabral of Killingworth; two nephews, Matt and Jason; and many cousins; and his best friend, Beau Albright; and girlfriend, Debi Fleisher.
